OUR STORY 📖

With over 25 years of experience in the textiles industry, our CEO, Ian Sharieff, is a Chemical Engineer with a Textiles Specialty and holds a MA in Textile Engineering from the University of Massachusetts and an MBA from Pepperdine University. Over time, he realized the hazards of the traditional manufacturing process and how it affected our environment, how it affected our workers, our consumers, and our environment.

Something had to be done.

After a while, he and a group of like-minded individuals did extensive research to combat this dangerous trend. Years later, they successfully developed eco-friendly, organic, and natural products.

At present, the organic movement has removed several million pounds of pesticides and other toxic chemicals from the textile manufacturing process. This involves safe cultivation, diligent harvesting, and responsible fiber and fabric processing. The prevention of toxic substances that pollute our waters and air has protected countless communities around the world. As a result, this movement has spared millions of global textile workers and communities from associated health hazards.

 

OUR COMMUNITY 🤲

We champion a culture that advocates socially just health conditions for fiber cultivation and processing, especially in our bedding products that are so close to us in everyday life. We use Global Organic standards are guidelines to produce and market safer textiles based products. Our product guidelines are driven by Standards such as GOTS (Global Organic Textiles Standards), GOLS (Global Organic Latex Standards), and Fair Trade requirements. These regulations ensure that individuals involved in making our products have fair wages, ethical living conditions, health benefits, and overall concern for the environment and community. Our consumers are pleased that they sleep on the most eco-friendly and healthy products.
